Title: Landscape Architect / Designer
Job Description: As a Landscape Architect / Designer with the Landscape Architecture Studio at Weihe Engineers, you are rewarded daily by working with seasoned and acclaimed licensed landscape architects on a variety of projects. Our full-service approach to projects includes land surveying, civil / site engineering, landscape architecture and construction administration.
You’ll be working to bring exciting community projects to life. Projects including: parks, open spaces, mixed-use urban development, streetscapes, municipal centers, campuses, residential communities and commercial development properties. Your role will include developing site and landscape plans; creating presentation graphics (including computer generated plan / perspective 3D renderings and sections); assisting in the production of landscape and site schematics, contract document plans and specifications; developing cost opinions, scheduling, and project correspondence; conducting area and quantity take-offs; perform code analysis and research; perform site investigations to document existing conditions as well as to guide the development of final landscape and site development plans; providing construction administration / observation.
Required Experience/Skills:
Our Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program
• 0 to 5+ years of professional experience practicing as a Landscape Architect / Site Designer
• Licensure is not required
• Strong hand and computer graphic skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketch Up
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Civil 3D
• Experience in Lumion or other graphic rendering software is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
