This year's theme is Beyond the Drawing Board.
Great design is only the beginning. This year's conference includes sessions that explore the people, processes, partnerships, and unexpected challenges that bring projects to life. Join us to learn how the work we do can extend beyond the drawing board.

We are thrilled to have the Mayor of Fishers, Scott Fadness, as our keynote speaker.
He will be sharing: "Beyond the Bookshelf: How Fishers Turned a Downtown Plan into a Downtown."

In this keynote conversation, Mayor Scott Fadness sits down with Tom Dickey, the community development director he hired to make it happen, for an unusually candid account of how it was actually done — and what they would do differently. Expect specifics: the houses that came down, the meeting that went badly, the developer who said no, the space that sat empty too long, and the moment the Mayor first believed it was going to work. Expect a sitting mayor explaining, in plain terms, how a site plan becomes municipal solvency. And expect both men to answer the question this profession rarely asks out loud fourteen years into a project: what would you take back?

This conference is open to landscape architecture professionals, educators, students, and allied professionals.

CEUs will be available through LACES. If you have any questions, please email conference@inasla.org
